ITHACA, N.Y.  - The Army women's tennis team will advance senior co-captain Jamila Paul and freshman Caroline Lorenzini into the final round of singles play after each collected a pair of wins on Saturday at Reis Tennis Center. In addition, Army duo of Paul and sophomore Carolyn Pitman and team of Lorenzini and sophomore Haley O'Connor will play for the championship title in A doubles and B doubles brackets, respectively.

Paul collected her first win of the day over Seton Hall's Hannah Liljevist (7-5, 6-3) and will move onto the A singles bracket final round after an injury bye over Cornell's Ryann Young. Meanwhile, Lorenzini picked up two wins on the day in C singles bracket, first over Niagara's Paulina Velasquez (2-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (7) and Niagara's Jenna McCune (6-0, 6-0).

In doubles play, team of Paul and Pitman came out with a 6-3 victory over Cornell's Lauren Frazier and Ryann Young for a bid in the final round of A doubles where they will play Cornell's duo of Marika Cusick and Alexandra D'Ascenzo. Black Knight team of Lorenzini and O'Connor will play in the final round of B doubles on Sunday after a 6-2 win over Seton Hall's Anna Guryanova and Julie Martiny.
