2003: Army's top returning hitter after leading the way most of the season ... appeared in 39 of 47 games with starts in 38 ... collected 35 hits, fourth-highest on team, in 113 plate appearances ... closed out the season batting .310 to stand 10th in the Patriot League, while the team leader in runs (27), triples (7), total bases (59), stolen bases (successful on 20-21 attempts) and slugging percentage (.522) ...finished first in the conference in triples and stolen bases, fifth in runs scored, ninth in total bases and fifth in slugging percentage ... hit safely in nine straight games, including 14 of 17 during that run ... had eight multiple-hit performances, twice collecting three hits ... had a double and triple and drove in a season-high three runs in 3-for-4 showing against defending Patriot League champion Lehigh in closing out four-game series ... registered best league showing in four-game series with Bucknell as Army clinched a playoff berth ... batted .615 (8-for-13) along with scoring five runs and driving in three ... involved in eight of 15 runs as Army took three of four games in that series ... perfect in all three plate appearances (which included a pair of triples) in 5-0 win over Bucknell that kept Army's playoff hopes alive ... scored twice and drove in another ... had a hand in all four runs, including a two-run homer that snapped a 2-2 tie in lifting Black Knights to 4-3 final game victory in the series ... scored twice in the win ... closed out league play batting .347 with .694 slugging average and .373 on-base percentage ... committed just three errors in 73 fielding chances ... at league tournament, knocked in a run and scored another in the bottom of the third inning as Army rallied to tie the game 3-3, and came from behind again in the final inning to turn back Holy Cross, 8-7, and advance.
