COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Army women's basketball team practiced in the main arena at the Comcast Center during its second day in Maryland on Saturday after briefly addressing the media for an NCAA-mandated period of availability.

Prior to their practice session, three Black Knights joined head coach Dave Magarity in the Comcast Center media room, where they fielded questions from a handful of reporters. Senior Jen Hazlett, junior Olivia Schretzman and sophomore Kelsey Minato sat at the podium alongside Magarity to answer questions ranging from their NCAA Tournament preparations to their respective roles in the military following graduation.

After handling media requests from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Army took the floor at 1:10 p.m. to begin a practice session that lasted one and one half hours. With a capacity of 17,950, the Comcast Center will be the second-largest arena Army has played at this season after competing at Ohio State's Value City Arena, which holds 18,809.

"It was nice to get on the court and kind of get a feel for it," Minato said. "It will be a lot of fun tomorrow."

The team was given the second practice slot of the day, hitting the court right after Maryland and just before Texas. Following a brief stretching routine, the Black Knights got right down to business, as the 90-minute timeslot would be the last opportunity to play on the court until pregame warm ups on Sunday.

"It was good for our team just to make sure we were focused," said Army freshman Shelby Lindsay. "Tomorrow will be fun, and we'll just need to focus on what we're doing."

Army enters tomorrow's NCAA Tournament game as the 13th seed in the Louisville Region, while its opponent, Maryland, is seeded fourth. Sunday's contest tips off at 12:30 p.m., with regional television coverage provided by ESPN2. Fans in an area where the game is not being shown, can watch live online on ESPN3 ( Sunday will be the Black Knights' first NCAA Tournament appearance since playing Tennessee back in the 2006.
