WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army women's basketball sophomore Kelsey Minato was honored as the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for her performances in a pair of Patriot League Tournament games last week. The sophomore went 5-of-9 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free-throw stripe, while also adding three assists to help the Black Knights advance to their fifth Patriot League title game.

The Huntington Beach, Calif., native netted a Patriot League Championship game-record 31 points on March 15, while going 10-of-18 from the floor and 8-of-8 from the foul line, to send Army past Holy Cross, 68-58, and into the NCAA Tournament for the second time as a Division I program (2006).
