WEST POINT, N.Y. - The second-seeded Army women's basketball team will begin postseason action when it hosts No. 7 Boston University in a Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinal game on Thursday, March 6. Tip-off at Christl Arena is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Hazlett, Black Knights Prove Too Much For BU
Army received points from nine different players, including senior Jen Hazlett, who picked up her fifth double-double of the season, during the Black Knights' 75-48 win over Boston University in Patriot League women's basketball action on Wednesday evening at Case Gym.

THE ARMY-BOSTON UNIVERSITY SERIES
Thursday will mark just the sixth meeting between Army and Boston University. The Black Knights are 2-0 against the Terriers this season, renewing a series that featured only three previous contests (1979-80 - 1981-82). Overall, Boston University holds a 3-2 series lead. Thursday will be the first postseason match-up between the schools.
LAST TIME OUT
Army finished its regular season with a 64-53 win at Lafayette on March 1. The Black Knights went 16-of-18 (88.9 percent) from the foul line, tying for their third-best free-throw shooting performance of the year. Senior Jen Hazlett and sophomore Kelsey Minato both went 4-of-4 from the line, while sophomores Brianna Johnson and Jean Parker, and freshman Stephanie Geyer each finished 2-for-2. Ten of Army's free-throws came in the second half, as the Black Knights outscored the Leopards, 30-19, in the period. Minato totaled a game-high 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting while notching six assists and four rebounds, and Hazlett came within one rebound of a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Sophomore Aimee Oertner posted 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks, while Parker added nine points and four boards.
