Saturday will mark the 29th meeting between Army and American in a rivalry that dates back to 1996, with the Eagles holding a 17-11 all-time advantage. American earned four straight wins in the series from 2011-13, but the Black Knights have won each of the last two meetings, including a 54-53 victory in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 25.

Army went 20-of-66 (30.3 percent) from the field to mark its worst shooting night of the season during a 71-60 setback at Colgate on Feb. 19. The Black Knights trailed by 12 points at halftime, but rallied to close the gap to three with 7:34 remaining in the second frame, thanks to offensive contributions from senior Jen Hazlett and sophomore Kelsey Minato. Hazlett and Minato accounted for 20 of Army's first 26 points in the period to cut the deficit to three, but Colgate wouldn't let the game get any closer, using a 10-of-10 free-throw performance over the final 2:40 to seal the victory. Hazlett led Army with 23 points and seven rebounds, while Minato scored 20 points, including going 10-of-10 on foul shots, to extend her double-digit scoring streak to 41 games. Sophomore Brianna Johnson finished with nine points, six rebounds and a career-high five assists, while junior Olivia Schretzman added six points and six boards.

Following Saturday's contest, Army will embark on a three-game road trip to close out the regular season. The Black Knights will make up their postponed game at Lehigh on Monday, Feb. 24 before traveling to Boston University (Feb. 26) and Lafayette (March 1).
