WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army women's basketball team will welcome Loyola to Christl Arena on Saturday, Feb. 1, to kick off the second half of its Patriot League schedule. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.

Minato's Career Game Leads Army To 66-62 OT Win At Loyola
Sophomore Kelsey Minato scored a career-high 29 points and closed the game on a personal 6-0 run to give the Army women's basketball team a 66-62 come-from-behind overtime victory against Loyola in Patriot League action on Sunday afternoon at Reitz Arena.

Army improved to 15-5 overall and 7-2 in the conference after topping Boston University, 72-45, on Jan. 29. Sophomore Kelsey Minato scored a career-high 32 points while going 6-of-8 from three-point range against the Terriers, and senior Jen Hazlett put up 22 points and eight rebounds.

Army is 2-4 all-time against Loyola, but the Black Knights are on a 1-0 streak in the series after defeating the Greyhounds back on Jan. 5. Saturday's game will mark Loyola's first trip to West Point as a Patriot League squad.

Army knocked down a season-high 11 three-pointers while making 73.3 percent (11-of-15) of its attempts, also a season high, in a 72-45 win over Boston University on Jan. 29. The Black Knights held the Terriers to a 30.2 percent shooting night, the second lowest showing by an Army opponent all season. The Black Knights also allowed the fewest points in the paint on Wednesday, as Boston University finished with just 12 points inside the key. Minato scored a career-best 32 points to increase her double-digit scoring streak to 36 games and bring her scoring average 20.8 ppg. Minato knocked down six three-pointers to match Army's single-game record for three-pointers in a game. Hazlett finished with 22 points and eight rebounds to mark the second time this season both she and Minato have reached the 20-point mark in the same game (at Navy, 1/11/14). Junior Olivia Schretzman added six points, seven boards and four assists.

Army is back on the road Wednesday, Feb. 5, when its faces Lehigh at 7 p.m. The Black Knights came away with a 74-63 win over the Mountain Hawks during their last meeting on Jan. 8.
