WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army women's basketball team will finish off its season-long three-game road swing with a Patriot League contest at Bucknell on Saturday, Jan. 18. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Simmers' Late Heroics Push Army to 44-35 Win at Bucknell
Despite entering the final five minutes of the game shooting just two of 17, senior Anna Simmers did not let it deter her as she went on an 10-point scoring outburst to push Army women's basketball to a 44-35 win at Bucknell Saturday night. Simmers had just two points at halftime but went on to tie for an Army-best 14 along with freshman Kelsey Minato.

notched 23 points to build her double-digit scoring streak to 32 games, while also notching five assists, four rebounds and a career-high four steals. Senior Jen Hazlett
added 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and a 4-of-5 performance from three-point range, and junior Olivia Schretzman
posted 11 points and seven boards.

THE ARMY-BUCKNELL SERIES
Army is 21-31 in its all-time series against Bucknell, but the Black Knights have collected four-straight wins in the series, last falling to the Bison on March 5, 2011. Last season, Army earned a 68-60 victory over Bucknell at West Point before taking a 44-35 decision in Lewisburg, Pa.
LAST TIME OUT
Army turned in its second-best shooting night of the season in a 70-57 win at Holy Cross on Wednesday evening. The Black Knights hit 50.9 percent (27-of-53) of their attempts from the field against the Crusaders, while connecting on 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from three-point range. Minato scored 23 points to extend her Patriot League-leading double-digit scoring streak to 32 games. The sophomore also contributed five assists, four rebounds and a career-best four steals during 40 minutes of playing time. Hazlett totaled 16 points and four assists during just 20 minutes after falling into early foul trouble. Schretzman was the third Black Knight to reach the double-digit scoring mark against the Crusaders, as she finished with 11 points and seven boards. Army never trailed in the game, and led by as many as 18 with 1:16 remaining in the contest. Freshman Danielle Failor provided strong contributions off the bench, as she was 3-of-4 from both the field and the free-throw-line to finish with nine points and eight rebounds.
Army will return to Christl Arena on Wednesday, Jan. 22 for a 7 p.m. tilt against Colgate.
