Jennifer Fleming begins her second season as an assistant coach at her alma mater.

Fleming previously served as the assistant head coach at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, a program which competes in the Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Mountain Lions finished the 2003-04 campaign with a 10-17 overall record and ranked fifth in the RMAC West Division. Prior to her stint in Colorado Springs, Fleming also coached at Doherty High School from 2000-2002, helping guide the program to the Colorado 5A state title game in each of her two years.

A former two-sport athlete at West Point, Fleming starred on both the women's basketball and softball teams for four years. She captained both squads as a senior and was the recipient of the Army Athletic Association Award for outstanding achievement and exemplary leadership the same year. During her sophomore year, the women's basketball team won the Empire State Conference Championship and advanced to the Regional Championship of the NCAA Division II Tournament. Fleming was named to the all-region team at the 1988 NCAA Tournament after contributing 25 points and four rebounds in two contests.

Fleming also earned a host of accolades throughout her tenure at West Point. She took home conference "Rookie of the Year" honors as a freshman, earned the "Most Valuable Player" trophy her sophomore year and was named to the all-league first team as a junior and senior. She compiled 1,075 career points during her four-year career, ranking her ninth on the Academy's all-time scoring chart, and sits third all-time in career assists with 415.

Fleming graduated from the Academy in 1990 with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science. She went on to earn her master's degree in Software Systems Engineering at George Mason in 1998. Fleming resides in Fort Montgomery.
