WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army wrestling team will resume its tournament slate on Saturday, Nov. 10, when the Black Knights travel to Brockport, N.Y., to compete at the Oklahoma-Gold Classic. The all-day event, which will be contested inside the Special Events Recreation Center on the campus of SUNY Brockport, is set to get under way at 10 a.m.

Army is coming off a fifth-place showing at last weekend's Buffalo Invitational. Senior Collin Wittmeyer wrestled to a third-place finish at 184 pounds and eight other Black Knights placed within the top six to lead the team at its season opener.

Senior Jordan Thome (133 pounds), senior Patrick Marchetti (157), sophomore Stephen Snyder (285) and freshman Bryce Barnes (197) all authored fourth-place finishes for the Black Knights at the Buffalo Invitational.

Army placed fourth at last season's Oklahoma-Gold Classic as 12 Black Knights finished within the top eight. Thome placed runner-up at the Oklahoma-Gold last year, while Wittmeyer and fellow senior Daniel Young (149 pounds) both authored third-place finishes.

Following Saturday's event, the Army wrestling team will continue its tournament schedule on Saturday, Nov. 17, when the Black Knights travel to Ithaca, N.Y., to take part in the New York State Championships.
