Junior Jordan Thome, meanwhile, has authored a 12-6 record this season. The returning NCAA qualifier tops the Black Knights with six pins and seven bonus-point victories.
Rutgers (5-1) begins a busy weekend slate by hosting both Brown and Harvard on Friday. RU currently boasts four nationally-ranked wrestlers, led by juniors Mario Mason (149 pounds), Scott Winston (165) and Greg Zannetti (174).
Army and Rutgers have met 41 times previously, and the Black Knights hold a 29-11-1 lead in the all-time series. Rutgers won last year's meeting, taking a 35-6 decision from Army in Piscataway, N.J.
Following Sunday afternoon's dual match, Army will return to the road next Saturday, Jan. 14, when the Black Knights travel to New York, N.Y., to face EIWA rival Columbia. The action is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
