WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army men’s tennis will once again split between a pair of tournaments this weekend, as four Black Knights will head to the Harvard Halloween Classic and nine players will travel to the Lehigh Fall Championships. The Harvard tournament in Boston, Mass., and the Lehigh competition in Bethlehem, Pa., are both scheduled to run Friday through Sunday.

Traveling to Harvard will be juniors Henry Jang-Milsten and Asika Isoh, sophomore Peter Sienko and freshman Austin McCasin. Isoh and McCasin both competed at last weekend’s ITA East Regional Championships, with Isoh earning a 1-1 singles mark in the main draw and McCasin falling in the first round of the qualifying bracket.

Both players also competed in the doubles main draw, with Isoh earning a 1-1 record alongside freshman Harrison McCormick and McCasin dropping his opening-round match alongside senior captain Alex Holland.

For the season, Isoh shows a 3-6 singles record and team-leading 5-5 doubles record, while McCasin is 4-4 and 4-5, respectively. Jang-Milsten, who last competed Oct. 7 at Yale, is 3-4 in singles and 2-3 in doubles, with both victories coming alongside Holland. Sienko, who last took the court at the Dartmouth Shootout on Oct. 7, is 3-4 in singles and 4-2 in doubles.

On the roster for the Lehigh tournament is Holland (2-5; 2-3) and classmate Rashad Shelton (3-3; 3-4), junior Rommel Verano (0-1; 2-3), sophomore Roman Cacha (3-2; 2-1), McCormick (5-6; 5-5), and classmates David Proctor (3-3; 2-5), Caison Best (0-3; 0-2), Sam Jang-Milsten (1-6; 1-2) and Ben Davies (1-5; 0-5).

This weekend’s tournaments are the second-to-last of the fall season, as Army has just one event remaining on the schedule prior to the spring dual match season. The Black Knights will head to Tuscaloosa, Ala., Nov. 2-4, for the Alabama Open Invite to conclude tournament play.
