WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army men's tennis team will put its perfect 7-0 conference record to the test when it hosts the Patriot League Tournament from April 24-27. The Black Knights will host the league's eight other teams at West Point's Malek Tennis Courts, with the Lichtenberg Tennis Center serving as the back-up venue in case of inclement weather.
Army will occupy the top seed in the tournament, while Boston University and Navy will be No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. No. 4 Lehigh, No. 5 Colgate, No. 6 Bucknell, No. 7 Loyola, No. 8 Lafayette and No. 9 Holy Cross round out the rest of the field.

The Black Knights (17-5, 7-0 PL) are coming off a 5-2 win over Boston University on April 19 in a match-up that determined the Patriot League Tournament's regular-season winner, as both sides entered the match with undefeated conference records. Army collected the doubles point thanks to victories by its second and third tandems, as senior Asika Isoh and junior Alex Van Velzer, and sophomore Austin McCasin and freshman Kyle Barnes posted wins.
Army won four of the six singles matches in the competition, including decisions by Isoh (6-3, 7-5) and freshman Sam Lampman (6-3, 6-4) at the first and second spots, respectively. Van Velzer registered a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4, while Barnes managed a 3-6, 7-3, 11-9 victory at No. 5.
Army will go up against the winner of Thursday's first round match between Holy Cross and Lafayette on Friday morning at 9 a.m.
