The team arrived in Greenville, S.C., at the hotel, which will be the next week's accommodations, and went out for pizza before calling it an early night.

After a great night's sleep, we all enjoyed a breakfast at our hotel before heading off to practice at 10 a.m. This was the first time any of us have played outdoor tennis in the past few months, and we spent extra time warming up and getting acclimated to playing outside. We finished up our first practice by playing a few doubles games and drills, before it was time for a quick lunch. The team got subs (except for a few who substituted milkshakes) and we cooled off for just a bit before getting back on the courts about 1:30 p.m. The afternoon practice consisted of playing a lot of singles and doubles tiebreakers, as we all worked hard to get used to the elements we've been shielded from indoors. About an hour and a half later, practice wound down, we stretched out and make plans for the rest of the day. Some of us went to the mall and saw a movie, while others relaxed at the hotel. We ate on our own for dinner, but all checked in at 11 p.m. this evening. Tomorrow we will be competing against Furman University in a doubles tournament. It should be a fun start to our outdoor season. GO ARMY!
