Morris, Sustaita Shine in Sprint Football's Win at Penn
Army sprint football maintained its perfect record with a 35-7 victory at Penn on Saturday night. Despite tallying a season-low 35 points, the Black Knights amassed nearly 600 yards of offense, as seniors Javier Sustaita and Marquis Morris had a hand in over 500 of those total yards.

Army returns 32 letterwinners from 2012's squad, which finished with a 7-0 overall record. The perfect season marked the 15th undefeated campaign in Army sprint football history.

The Black Knights welcome back nine defensive starters from a year ago, including senior linebacker Jake Steckler, who finished third on last season's team with 41 tackles and tied for second with two interceptions. Among other returners on the defense are seniors John Egan and Philip Franco, who finished 2012 with 36 and 35 tackles, respectively.

On offense, Army returns junior quarterback James Wartski, who figures to see time as a starter in 2013. Wartski played in a backup role last season, where he completed 18 passes for 201 yards and threw five touchdowns.

Penn returns 35 members from last year's team that finished 3-5 overall. The Quakers' top passing and rushing threats from a year ago are back in the fold, as sophomore quarterback Keith Braccia (979 yards, 11 passing touchdowns) and sophomore unning back Mike Beamish (725 yards, one rushing touchdown) will look to build on their freshman year numbers.

Army holds a 51-6 advantage in its all-time series with Penn, in a rivalry that dates back to 1957. The most recent meeting came last season, when the Black Knights topped the Quakers, 35-7, in Philadelphia.

Army returns to the field on Friday, Sept. 20, when it hosts Post University at 7 p.m. The Black Knights defeated the Eagles, 63-28, last season.
