WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army men's soccer junior goalkeeper Winston Boldt and freshman midfielder Alex Jaroscak were named to the All-Patriot League Championship Team, Monday. Last Friday, the Black Knights competed in their first Patriot League Championship since 1996.

Boldt, who was awarded the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year and Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year last week, made five saves in the conference semifinal match against Holy Cross, including a pair of stops in each of the contest's two overtime periods. Boldt also denied Holy Cross' first penalty kick in a shootout that went six rounds.

Jaroscak scored Army's only goal in the contest, connecting on a pass from junior midfielder Sean Mogan in the 56th minute to knot the contest at 1-1. Jaroscak's marker came just 1:02 after the Crusaders scored to go up 1-0. In the penalty shootout, Jaroscak found the back of the net as the Black Knights' fourth shooter, planting the ball in the lower left corner to give Army a 3-1 advantage in the shootout round.

Boldt finishes the year with an Army-record and NCAA-best 12 shutouts, while standing third nationally in save percentage (.888) and sixth in goals against average (.521), as of Nov. 17. Boldt started in all 18 games for the Black Knights, while appearing as the team's only goalkeeper.

Jaroscak concludes his freshman campaign tied for second on the team with nine points (three goals, three assists). He also ranks second on the squad with a pair of game winners, netting the decided goals against Boston University on Oct. 5, and versus American on Oct. 19. Jaroscak appeared in 17 contests, while starting in six matches.

Army ends its 2013 campaign with a 12-3-3 overall record, tying for second in program history with 12 victories. This season marks just the fifth time the Black Knights have achieved 12 wins, and the first since 1993.
