Senior goalie Billy Knutsen enters the contest with a .790 goals against average and an .848 save percentage. Knutsen has four shutouts in 12 starts.
American leads its all-time series with Army, 10-2-1. The Black Knights suffered a 3-2 overtime defeat to the Eagles during last season's match at West Point.
After facing American, Army will return to the pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 22, when it travels to play a Central Connecticut State team ranked eighth in the NSCAA North Atlantic Region for its final non-conference tilt of the season.
