Boldt Named Goalkeeper Of The Year, Vosvick Tabbed As Rookie Of The Year

Junior Year: Earned his second team Most Valuable Player Award ... named to the Lehigh Classic?s all-tournament team ... recorded nine saves and allowed one goal through two Lehigh Tounrament games ... named Army?s ?Athlete of the Week? after turning in a stellar performance at the Army/Navy Anacoda Sports Soccer Classic ... saved six of seven shots he faced in a 2-1 win over nationally-ranked Hartwick in the tournament opener ... followed that performance with a two-save shutout versus Fordham ... earned a berth on the Army/Navy all-tournament team for his efforts ... recorded his second straight shutout in a 0-0 tie against Manhattan ... shutout streak snapped at Columbia in the 84th minute, a stretch that lasted 372 minutes ... saved a season and league-high nine shots in loss to the Lions ... posted his third shutout of the year in a 0-0 tie with arch rival Navy ... received his second ?Athlete of the Week? honor after match with the Midshipmen ... preserved that tie after making a huge save with two seconds left in overtime ... picked off eight shots in Black Knights? 1-0 loss to Colgate ... finished season with 59 saves (5th - Patriot)... recorded an average of almost four saves per game (4th - Patriot) ... started 14 of 17 games ... racked up over 1,300 minutes of playing time ... elected co-captain for 2002 season.
