Prior to West Point: Team captain at Liverpool H.S. where he was second team all-league and honorable mention All-Central New York for the Warriors ... named to all-star team at Top 205 camp ... started playing lacrosse in the seventh grade when he gave up his favorite sport of baseball ... also a member of Liverpool's football squad ... spent a year at USMAPS.
