Beginning with this Saturday's Atlantic Hockey Association home contest against Canisius, the Army Athletic Association has inked with Time Warner Cable SportsChannel to air three hockey games this season. The remaining two games will be played on Jan. 3 versus Mercyhurst and Jan. 11 against rival Air Force.
"We are thrilled to see this deal with our friends at Time Warner Cable SportsChannel come to fruition," said Army head coach Brian Riley. "We are tremendously appreciative for any opportunity we get to showcase this great Academy and its outstanding cadets. This gives us three more chances to do just that."
Fans in New York State can watch tomorrow night's game live from Tate Rink on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel on the following channel locations - New York City (197), Hudson Valley (461), Albany (323), Syracuse (324), Rochester (98), and Buffalo (323). Information on forthcoming games will be provided at a later date.
The Black Knights have already appeared on the Big Ten Network this season and will play live to a national television audience via CBS Sports Network on Jan. 10 against Air Force. In addition to the three home games included in this package, the Black Knights' AHA series at RIT Jan. 17 and 18 will also air live on TWC SportsChannel.
