Army, which stood 15th after the first round, shot a 619 for the tournament to finish eighth. Binghamton won the 19-team tournament with a 600.
"Our guys stayed poised today," said Army interim head golf coach Lt. Col. Rob Kewley. "Certainly the conditions helped with little wind and warm, sunny skies but we showed more poise today and it was reflected in our score.
Carver, who opened with an 81, shot a 71 during Sunday's 18-hole final round to finish tied for 18th, improving upon Saturday's 52nd-place showing. Matt Krembel shot an even-par 72 on the heels of a 79 for a 151 and a tie for 10th place.
Ethan Johnson, playing in his first event, shot a 76 on Sunday for a two-day total of 156 and a tie for 37th. Matt Philie shot a 79 and finished at 160 for the tournament in a tie for 58th. James Raymond fired a pair of 82s for a tie for 79th. William Park played as an individual and tied for 67th with a 78 on Sunday and a 162 for the tournament.
Army will play again April 24-25 at the Patriot League Championships being hosted by Colgate in Hamilton, N.Y.
"We're going to spend a good deal of time on the mental side of the game and staying focused," said Kewley. "We will also spend a good deal of time around the West Point greens and work on saving some strokes around the greens."
