MALVERN, Pa.  – Led by plebe Peter Kim’s 1-over par 143, the Army golf team finished the first two rounds of the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Villanova tied for third place among the 16-team field. Kim enters Tuesday’s final round in second place.

Kim carded an even-par 71 in the first round, countering five bogeys with five birdies. He shot 1-over par in the second round, posting 17 pars and one bogey. Drexel’s Christopher Crawford ended the first day on top of the leaderboard. Crawford shot a 1-under par 70 in the first round and completed the first 10 holes of the second round before being pulled off the course because of darkness. Five teams could not complete their second round of competition because of the late hour.
