Getting To Know Matt Philie How did you spend your summer? I participated in Cadet Leadership Development Training at Camp Buckner shortly after graduation and then Cadet leadership Development Training at Fort Bragg, N.C. I went home and played golf and competed in three amateur events. I chose West Point because? I wanted to serve my country, go to a great school, and play Division I golf. What makes Army golf so special? Tight knit, family unit Before every round I? Visualize success The longest drive I ever hit was? Drive for show, putt for dough If I could play only one club it would be? 6 iron I choice my major because? I like to work with numbers and it sets up well for a broad range of good career paths My dream foursome includes? My dad, Tiger Woods, Alex Ovechkin I am most looking forward to playing? The Army Navy match at Ridgewood Country Club, because it is always one of the biggest events of the year and we have it at a great venue this year. Favorite course to play on the Simulator?
