WEST POINT, N.Y. - A full slate of programming on CBS Sports Network and CBS will run on Saturday around the 112th Army-Navy Game presented by USAA.
Beginning with coverage of the March On and running until the end of the game, CBS Sports and CBS will have nearly seven hours of programming.
CBS Sports Network will open the programming at 11 a.m. with a 90-minute “Inside College Football: Army-Navy March On Special.” For the first time on national television, the traditional “March On” procession with the Corps of Cadets and Brigade of Midshipmen will be aired live. Adam Zucker is the host with Army Hall of Fame safety Lt. Col. Mike McElrath, cadet Kyle Johnson, Navy Capt. Robert Clark and midshipmen Carolyn Zu offering insight.
“Inside College Football: Army-Navy Tailgate" is set to air from 1 to 2 p.m. on CBS Sports with a game preview, features and interviews scheduled with Gen. Martin Demsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, among others. Zucker and Molly Qerim will host along with analysts Randy Cross and Brian Jones.
“College Football Today,” CBS Sports’ pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show begins coverage of the game at 2 p.m. Tim Brando will serve as the host with analysts Spencer Tillman and Aaron Taylor and a special essay from CBS Sports golf analyst David Feherety. The Heisman Trophy finalists will be in studio for a special segment at halftime on CBS.
“Prelude: The Making Of A Game of Honor,” will air twice Saturday on CBS Sports Network, allowing viewers to see the 30-minute special. Prelude gives a behind-the-scenes look at the documentary “Game of Honor,” which will air on Showtime Dec. 21 at 10 p.m.
Starting at 6 a.m., CBS Sports Network will air encore presentations of Army-Navy games from years past.
CBS Sports’ broadcast of the Army-Navy game also will be streamed live on CBSSports.com and CBS Sports Mobile.
