WEST POINT, N.Y. – A robust social media plan will allow fans to participate in the Army-Western Kentucky Game. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and much more are all in store for Saturday’s game at Michie Stadium.
Activities get underway at 9 a.m. in Black Knights Alley located on the east side of Michie Stadium and will continue until kickoff. A social media center will be available Black Knights Alley and fans are encouraged to stop by, like the official Facebook page and follow both the official Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Starting at 11:45 a.m., fans can follow a live blog featuring a member of the Army Athletic Communications Staff. You can read along, comment, and ask questions at goARMYsports.com. The blog will run until the conclusion of the game.
Fans are encouraged to tweet their best fanfest, game action and spirit photos to @Army_Football for a retweet and a chance to win the fan photo on the week which will be displayed on the Knight Vision video board during the second-half. In addition to these, photo galleries will be built on the Facebook page along with boards on Pinterest.
Real time updates, photos and interactions will take place on the Twitter site @Army_Football as well as the ArmyBlackKnights page on Instagram. Fans are encouraged to use the hashtags, #GoArmy and #BeatWKU to participate.
At the conclusion of the game, game recaps, photo galleries and game notes will be posted to goARMYsports.com.
YouTube will feature a host of multi-media postgame coverage as well.
