WEST POINT, N.Y. - Gordon Deal, who has served as the New York Giants public address announcer since 2011, will add Army football duties.
Deal was announced as the public address announcer for all home Army football games by Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan.
Deal, the host of the Wall Street Journal Radio Morning Show, will be behind the microphone for all five Army home games this season.
A veteran radio reporter, Deal has been with the Wall Street Journal since 2005 after serving stints at WINS-AM and WCBS-AM. In addition to his writing and reporting at the nationally know news stations, Deal also served as New York City bureau chief for Metro Networks which aired on WOR-AM and WABC-AM.
Deal began his career in radio as a play-by-play announcer at Rutgers, his alma mater.
Prior to handling the Giants public address duties, Deal spent five years at Madison Square Garden handling both the New York Knicks and the New York Liberty.
Army's 2013 home football schedule will feature a bevy of promotions and recognitions during each of the five games at Michie Stadium. The Black Knights begin the season Friday, Aug. 30 versus Morgan State. The Black Knights are also slated for home games versus Stanford (Sept. 14), Wake Forest (Sept. 21), Eastern Michigan (Oct. 12) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 9).

Season ticket packages start as low as $105 for the "Spirit Zone" section, located in the northwest and southwest corners of Michie Stadium, while sideline season tickets are priced at $170, and West Point faculty and staff tickets are $145.
Flexible three game mini plans range from $80-$100, depending on the games selected. Groups of 20 or more may purchase single game tickets in the endzone or upper level at a discounted rate.

Individual game tickets for the Morgan State game are priced at $30, while the contests versus Wake Forest and Western Kentucky are $35 each. Admission to the Stanford and Eastern Michigan games is $39 per ticket.
