BRONX, N.Y. - The Army football team will play its third game at historic Yankee Stadium when the Black Knights host Connecticut on Saturday, Nov. 8. Kickoff time has not yet been announced.

Army has played Rutgers and Notre Dame at the state-of-the-art home of the New York Yankees and will compete for the third time in November.

CBS Sports Network will carry the game live to a national audience.

Army and the New York Yankees have a long partnership in both baseball and football.

Most recently, the Yankees played at Army in an exhibition contest at Doubleday Field at West Point last spring. Army has played football at Yankee Stadium in 2010 and 2011.

Army has played at both Yankee Stadiums a combined 40 times, beginning in 1925 when the Black Knights topped Notre Dame 27-0.

Army and Notre Dame split four games at Yankee Stadium from 1925-1928. Stanford, on Dec. 1, 1928, was the first non-Notre Dame opponent Army faced at Yankee Stadium.

The Black Knights posted two wins at Yankee Stadium in 1930,edging Illinois 13-0 and defeating Navy, 6-0.

In addition to Notre Dame, Navy, Rutgers and Illinois, Army has also competed against Columbia, Princeton, Michigan, Southern California, Air Force, Syracuse, Oklahoma and Pittsburgh at Yankee Stadium.

Army and Connecticut will meet for the sixth time and the first time since 2006 in the Bronx in November.
