► Army has now lost five straight games against Temple and trails the all-time series, 6-4.
► The Black Knights suffered their 16th straight loss against Big East opponents.
► Army dropped to 2-9 since 2009 when on the wrong end of a -2 or worse turnover margin.
► The Black Knights ended their seven-game home slate with a 2-5 record.

► Army’s 442 rushing yards pushed the Black Knights’ season total to 4,068. It is the second straight year Army has cracked the 4,000-yard barrier which accounts for the only two 4,000-yard seasons in Academy history. The Black Knights need just 91 yards against Navy to break the school record set last season (4,158).
► Senior QB Trent Steelman and sophomore FB Larry Dixon rushed for 139 and 106 yards, respectively, to extend Army’s program record of games with multiple 100-yard rushers to six.
► Steelman scored three rushing touchdowns to break the Academy career record. His 44 rushing scores topped the mark of 43 previously held by 1946 Heisman Trophy winner Glenn Davis.
► Steelman’s 18 points moved him into sole possession of second place on the Army career scoring ledger with 268. Davis holds the mark with 354 points scored.
► Steelman posted his fifth straight 100-yard game, breaking the Academy record. The old mark of four was accomplished 10 times by six different players.
► Steelman’s increased his season rushing total to 1,152 yards, the most by an Army quarterback. Steelman’s total ranks sixth on Army’s single-season ledger.
► Steelman’s three touchdowns increased his season total to 16, the most by an Army quarterback and the second most in school history. Carlton Jones holds the mark with 17 during the 2004 season.
► Steelman posted his 12th career 100-yard game, the most by a quarterback in Academy history. Steelman will finish his career ranked second overall behind Mike Mayweather’s total of 21.
► Steelman’s seven 100-yard games in 2012 tie the Army quarterback record also held by Nate Sassaman (1984). Steelman is one shy of Mike Mayweather’s total of eight set in 1990.
► Junior RB Raymond Maples ran for 94 yards to crack the 1,000-yard mark for the season. Maples’s total of 1,059 marks the second straight season he has reached the 1,000-yard mark. Maples is only the third Army player to post at least two 1,000-yard seasons. Mike Mayweather did it three times (1988-90) and Carlton Jones accomplished the feat twice (2004-05).
► Steelman and Maples are only the second Army duo to both reach the 1,000-yard mark in the same season. Doug Black (1,148) and Nate Sassaman (1,002) were the first during the 1984 season.
► Steelman and Maples have combined for 2,211 yards this season. They are the second most prolific rushing duo in Army history behind only Mike Mayweather (1,338) and Willie McMillian (900) gained 2,238 yards in 1990.
► Dixon’s 100-yard game was his fourth of the season.
► Sophomore WR Chevaughn Lawrence caught a pass for the ninth straight game. It is the longest streak by an Army player since Jeremy Trimble caught a pass in 22 straight during the 2006-07 seasons.
► Junior WR Ejay Tucker made his first career catch.

► Temple’s 63 points were the most scored against Army since Stanford scored a 67-14 win on Oct. 4, 1975.
► The Owls’ Montel Harris set Army records for rushing yards (351) and rushing touchdowns (7) by an opponent.
► Sophomore LB Geoffery Bacon made 10 tackles to lead the team. It was his eighth double-digit game in the last nine outings.
► Army dropped to 2-16 in its last 18 games without forcing a turnover.
► Army has lost its last 42 games when allowing the opposition to score at least 40 points.

► Senior K Eric Osteen made his debut as Army’s placekicker on Saturday. Osteen made his first career field goal attempt, a 37-yarder in the second quarter, and was 1-for-2 on extra points.
