► Army suffered its first loss to Eastern Michigan, dropping to 4-1 all-time against the Eagles. Saturday was Army's third trip to Ypsilanti in the last four years.
► Saturday's loss was the Black Knights' 11th straight in games played away from West Point. Army's last win outside of Michie Stadium was the 2010 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl against SMU played at Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas.
► Army has lost seven straight games against Mid-American Conference opponents.
► The Black Knights lost their 23rd straight game when trailing after three quarters. Army's last fourth-quarter comeback was a 17-13 win against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 11, 2008.
► Army was -1 in turnover margin Saturday afternoon, dropping to 10-48 since the start of 2006 when losing the turnover battle.

► Junior FB Hayden Tippett made his first career start on Saturday. He is the 15th Army player to make their debut with the first unit, including the fifth on offense. Tippett established a career high with nine rushing attempts and gained a career-best 74 yards, including a career-long 25-yard run.
► Senior RB Malcolm Brown's 55-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was the longest of his career.
► Senior QB Trent Steelman's 75-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest of his career, and the longest by an Army player since Collin Mooney went 81 yards versus Buffalo on Oct. 18, 2008.
► Steelman ran 16 times for 212 yards to break the Army single-game record for rushing yards by a quarterback. Tory Crawford previously held the mark with 208 yards against Lafayette on Nov. 15, 1986. Steelman's total ranks tied for ninth on the Army single-game list regardless of position. It was the most yards by an Army player since Collin Mooney had 229 against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 11, 2008.
► Steelman had his eighth career 100-yard game. He is tied for seventh on the Army career 100-yard rushing list.
► Steelman moved into second place on Army's career rushing touchdowns list. His 38 career scores pulls him within five of Glenn Davis's all-time record of 43 rushing scores.
► Steelman moved into fourth place on Army's career rushing list. He now has 2,781 yards to become the fifth Army player to reach the 2,700-yard mark in their career.
► Steelman also moved into a tie for third place on the Army career scoring list (230) and is now second on the Black Knights' career touchdowns responsible for ledger (52).
► Steelman became the third Army player to register at least 5,000 yards of total offense. He ranks third all-time at West Point with 5,193 yards.
► Sophomore RB Trenton Turrentine scored his first rushing touchdown of the season.

► Freshman LB Alex Meier's second quarter interception at the goal line was the first of his career and Army's first interception since Tyler Dickson had one against Northern Illinois.
► EMU gained 577 yards of total offense, the most by an Army opponent since Tulsa had 622 yards on Nov. 17, 2007.
► Army has lost 41 straight games when allowing at least 40 points.

► Freshman K Daniel Grochowski hit a 42-yard field goal in the first quarter, his second field goal of better than 40 yards this season. He is now 6-for-8 on the year and 2-for-3 from 40 yards or more.
► Junior Julian Crockett established career highs with eight kickoff returns for 129 yards.
