► Army meets its arch rival for the second time this season when it travels to Annapolis on Saturday. The Mids won the first meeting of the season at West Point.
► The Alumni Trophy is on the line this weekend when Army and Navy square off. The Black Knights currently hold the hardware after last season's Star Game victory. Army has not won the Star Game in back-to-back seasons since a three-game run from 1976-78. The Black Knights have now won a Star on Navy's home court since 1992.
► The Black Knights are coming off an 85-68 win at Lafayette that completed a season sweep of the Leopards for the first time since 2009. Freshman Kyle Wilson posted his sixth 20-point effort of the season with a game-high 24 points. Senior Ella Ellis also reached the 20-point mark, while plebe Kyle Toth added 14 markers. Army shot 55.6 percent while limiting the Leopards to 39.1 percent from the field.
► Army's win on Wednesday was its second straight victory on the road (Jan. 30 at Holy Cross). Since joining the Patriot League in 1990-91, Army has not won three straight road games versus conference opponents. The Black Knights have now won back-to-back games in Annapolis since a five-game winning streak in alternating years between the 1964-65 and 1972-73 seasons.
► Wilson and Ellis are both on the precipice of climbing Army record lists. Wilson has scored 321 points this season, the seventh most in Academy history. He is just two points shy of passing Randy Cozzens for sixth place and 14 points short of moving past Kevin Houston into the top five. Ellis has 1,436 points, just nine away from passing Jarell Brown for eighth place all-time at West Point.
► Army boasts three rookies that lead the crop of Patriot League freshmen in different statistical categories. Wilson's 13.4 overall average and 15.4 conference scoring average are tops among league rookies. Dylan Cox leads Patriot League freshmen with 5.5 rebounds per game overall and 5.9 boards per game in Patriot League play. Cox also leads all players with a 4.4 assist-to-turnover ratio in conference action. Kevin Ferguson leads all Patriot League freshmen with an Army plebe record 23 blocked shots.
► Army has started at least two freshmen in ever game this season, at least three rookies in 19 straight games, at least four in the last five games and five freshmen three times.
