With every new season there are new goals created for that season. This year all of our efforts are pointed toward winning another conference championship. By doing this we would distinguish ourselves as the best team to every play at Army. No other team has won two consecutive championships before.

Our trip to Florida was extremely productive for the team. Leaving the Charleston and Duke series unsuccessful, our team was left discouraged both offensively and defensively. Winning all six games in Florida gave us the confidence we need to continue the success we started last year. The top of our line-up is now hitting like it did at the end of last year, and our pitching has been astounding. The focus is back where it needs to be, and the team is looking forward to our home games this week and the conference opener against Lehigh next weekend. Over the next two weeks, we will look to continue our recent success and increase our level of play even more so we can peak at the right time against our conference opponents.
