NEW YORK - The exhibition baseball game between the Army Black Knights and New York Yankees, scheduled for Saturday, March 30, at West Point, will be telecast live via the YES Network.

The YES Network telecast, which will cover the historic contest between the two storied institutions in its entirety, is slated to go on the air at 2 p.m. Army and the Yankees have squared off 21 times since initiating the series in 1927, but have not met since 1976.

The exhibition contest against Army highlights the YES Network's coverage of Yankees baseball during spring training. The Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network will televise a total of 19 Yankees games during the spring. It will mark the Black Knights' first game appearance on the network, which was launched in 2002.

The YES Network is available locally in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and parts of Pennsylvania. It is also available nationally on DirecTV (channel 631) and in the sports tier of cable systems, and regionally on AT&T U-verse and Verizon FiOS.

Army opens its 2013 campaign this afternoon (Friday, Feb. 15) at UNC Greensboro. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
