Jensen and Lindner blasted solo home runs to back the stellar pitching of Dignacco.
A senior left-hander, Dignacco struck out nine, allowed just one hit and one unearned run. He did not walk a batter.

Lafayette knotted the game at one in the top of the fourth inning. Andrew Santomauro singled to open the frame and he took second on a sacrifice bunt. Parker Hills struck out but the ball was in the dirt and Ben Smith had to throw to first. Santomauro broke for third and scored when the throw was wild.
Army quickly re-took the lead in the bottom half of the inning. Jensen led off the inning with his first home run of the season and the fourth of his career for a 2-1 Army advantage.
Dignacco preserved the lead, despite a runner reaching on an error in the seventh.
