WEST POINT, N.Y.  – Army track and field’s regular season will continue this weekend when the Black Knights travel to Princeton for the Larry Ellis Invitational. The annual meet has well over 2,000 entries for the two-day event, including over 70 colleges and 25 track clubs. Patriot League foes Colgate, Lehigh and Navy all have athletes slated to compete at the Tigers’ Weaver Stadium.

The men’s hammer throw will be Army’s first event of the weekend, as five Black Knights are slated to compete Friday at 3 p.m. Army’s first running event will also be Friday evening as entries have been accepted in the women’s and men’s steeplechase which are set to start at 5:40 and 6:10, respectively.

Live results from Weaver Stadium will be available and can be viewed HERE.

Army last competed on April 13 in its final home meet of the season which was a team-scoring competition against Binghamton, Colgate, Middlebury and Columbia. The Black Knight men won the team title while the women placed second. Army also sent select individuals to Bucknell to compete at the Bison Classic which was offering a 10,000-meter run.

A pair of Black Knights added their names to the ECAC and IC4A Championship-qualifying lists last weekend as freshman Emily Ezerins recorded a qualifying throw in the discus while senior Brian Morenus met the standard in the 10,000 meters.
