Three-Meter Results Get Acrobat Reader

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. - Army senior diving standout Chris Nguyen capped his collegiate career this weekend at the NCAA Zone "A" Diving Championships by competing off both springboards. Sophomores Zachary Woods and Josh Urnezis also represented the Black Knights at the prestigious event.

Army's trio failed to qualify for the finals off the one-meter board. Urnezis came the closest to making the cut, missing the finals by one spot and placing 19th in the preliminaries with a score of 265.10 points. Nguyen finished 21st in the one-meter preliminaries (258.65), while Woods placed 25th (254.15).

Nguyen paced Army in the three-meter event, advancing to the finals and finishing 11th overall (312.10). Woods (247.60) and Urnezis (211.25) finished 30th and 38th, respectively, in the three-meter preliminaries.
