• The Army West Point football team is back at Michie Stadium for its annual clash with service academy rival Air Force on Saturday.

THE OPENING KICKOFF
• Army bounced back last week with an impressive late-game performance at Wake Forest, scoring 14 points in the final quarter to earn a 21-13 win.
• The Black Knights won at Wake Forest for the first time in program history on its 10th opportunity.
• Saturday's win was the first under head coach Jeff Monken in which Army erased a fourth-quarter deficit.
• The Army defense held its sixth opponent in eight games under 15 points and held the Demon Deacons to just six points in the second half.
• Bateman's bunch ranks third in the country in total defense and is seventh in the country in rushing defense, allowing a mere 103 yards per game.
• The rushing attack was shut down in the first half at Wake Forest, but rebounded in the second half with 196 on the ground and two touchdowns.
• Army is 2-1 at home this season with wins over Rice and Lafayette and has averaged 37 points per game, while allowing only 18.
ARMY-AIR FORCE SERIES HISTORY
• This will be the 51st meeting all-time between the two service academy rivals and the 24th clash at West Point
• Air Force leads the all-time series with a 35-14-1 advantage.

• Ahmad Bradshaw ran the ball a season high 27 times for 65 yards and a touchdown against the Demon Deacons.
• Darnell Woolfolk earned his first start of the season and carried the ball 11 times for 42 yards and a touchdown.

• King has been in the right place at the right time with two fumble recoveries in 2016, including one at Duke.
