Men's Tennis Concludes Fall Season

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Army West Point men's tennis team concluded the fall portion of its schedule after the third day of the ITA Northeast Regionals hosted by Yale on Saturday.
"We feel good about the hard work and improvement we've seen throughout the fall," said head coach Jim Poling. "We are excited for the spring and are looking forward to a great season."
Junior Grant Riechmann was the only member of the Black Knights to make it past the opening round of the singles draw, but fell to Brown's top seed, Grant Garcia, by a score of 6-4, 6-2.
Army's double team comprised of Senior Harrison McCormick and Riechmann fell in their second-round match 8-5 to Dovydas Sakinas and Brendan Tannenmaum of Dartmouth who are seeded as the No. 2 on the doubles side.
The Black Knights will open their spring season on at home with a double-header against UC Irvine and Monmouth at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
