Army won its 660th game all-time and is now 660-495-51 in 124 seasons.
Army’s win Saturday was its first at Yankee Stadium since defeating #9 Syracuse 9-6 on Nov. 5, 1960 and halted a six-game losing streak in the Bronx, N.Y.
Army’s win marked its first in three tries in the new Yankee Stadium.
The Black Knights previously suffered defeats to Notre Dame in 2010 (the first college football game played in the new Yankee Stadium) and Rutgers in 2011.
Army has played in all three regular season football games held at the new Yankee Stadium.

Senior running back Larry Dixon made his 34th career start, the most of any active Army player.
Army’s offensive line featured tackles Ryan Alexander and Drew Hennessey, guards Colby Enegren and Stephen Shumaker and center Matt Hugenberg.
Hugenberg is the lone member of the offensive line to start all nine games this season.
Angel Santiago made his 19th career start at quarterback.
Santiago rushed for two touchdowns, his seventh and eighth scores of the season.
Santiago stands in 14th place all-time in Academy history with 19 rushing touchdowns, passing Al Rushatz (1959-61) and Lynn More (1967-69).
Army’s 16-play, 89-yard, 8:41 drive on its opening possession was its longest of the season in terms of plays, yards and time.
Joe Walker established career bests in carries (five), yards (31), long rush (15) and rushing touchdowns (two).
The touchdowns were the first rushing touchdown of Walker’s career.
Walker has now rushed for a touchdown and thrown a touchdown pass this season.
Trenton Turrentine carried a season-high four times for 28 yards.
Entering the contest, he had four carries on the season, three at Wake Forest.
Army’s first three scoring drives took at least 5:49.
Running back Stephen Fraser dressed for the contest, his first time dressing since injuring his knee in the spring game in April.
DEFENSE
Chris Carnegie made his 29th career start, the most of any active player on the Army defense.
Carnegie was joined in the secondary by Josh Jenkins, Rhyan England and Hayden Pierce.
Carnegie intercepted a second-quarter pass, his second of the season and Army’s ninth of the season.
Carnegie also returned an interception for a 99-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Saturday marked the first time Carnegie intercepted two passes in a contest.
Saturday was the second time an Army player had two interceptions in a game this season (Josh Jenkins vs. Buffalo, Sept. 6, 2014).
Carnegie’s interception return for a touchdown was Army’s second this season after Jeremy Timpf returned one 45 yards at Yale on Sept. 27, 2014.
Carnegie’s interception return of 99 yards stands as Army’s second longest interception return in Academy history.
Ed Givens returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown against Lafayette on Oct. 20, 1990 at Michie Stadium.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Cale Brewer handled kickoff duties for Army. He kicked off six times for 370 yards, an average of 61.7 yards per boot.
A.J. Schurr rushed five yards for a first down on a fake field goal on fourth-and-2 from the UConn 6-yard line on Army’s initial possession.
Alex Tardieu punted just twice for 82 yards, an average of 41.0 yards per game.
His first punt of the game came in the third quarter and was downed at the UConn 19-yard line, while his second occurred in the fourth quarter and pinned the Huskies at their 17.
