Assistant Athletic Trainer

Danielle Szalay joined the Army Athletic Training Staff in July of 2006. She spent five years as the athletic trainer for volleyball and softball, and currently works with the women's basketball team.

A 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University, Szalay earned a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, while assisting staff certified athletic trainers in a variety of varsity sports.

Szalay is also a graduate of Kent State University, where for two years she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with the women's gymnastics, women's field hockey, and men's and women's golf programs. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State.

Szalay is a native of Sheffield, Ohio, and currently resides in Highland Falls, N.Y.
