Assistant Director/Athletic Communications
Pamela Flenke is entering her fourth year at West Point, serving as the Assistant Director of Army Athletic Communications. Flenke is the primary contact for the Army women's basketball, cross country and track and field teams, while also assisting with football and volleyball statistics.
Prior to the 2013-14 academic year, Flenke also served as the media relations contact for Army men's and women's tennis and sprint football. She served as the Communications Assistant for three years before being promoted to Assistant Director in the summer of 2013.
The Windsor, Conn., native came to West Point for the 2010-11 academc year after spending the 2009-10 season at the Big East Conference as a communications assistant. Flenke was the primary contact for baseball, track & field, tennis and field hockey, while also assisting with women's basketball and football. She was responsible for the production of media guides, postseason programs and weekly releases, as well as maintaining statistics, records and the website for the conference's 16 member schools. Flenke also aided in the preparation and execution of conference championships and media days, including men's basketball.
Prior to the Big East, she spent three years in the athletic media relations office at Providence College. While with the Friars, she was the primary contact for women's tennis and swimming & diving teams, and secondary contact for the nationally ranked field hockey program.
Flenke earned her bachelor's degree from Providence in political science in 2007, followed by a master's in business administration in 2009.
