Assistant Athletic Trainer
Bobby Daplyn joined the Army athletic training staff at West Point in the summer of 2010. He is currently in his fifth season as an assistant athletic trainer for the Black Knights' football team.
The Vineland, N.J., native came to West Point after spending the 2009 season with the New York Jets as a seasonal assistant athletic trainer.
A 2007 graduate of Rutgers University, Daplyn earned his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. He later earned a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Seton Hall University, where he worked with the Fairleigh Dickinson University football team in Madison, N.J., as well as with several local high schools.
Daplyn is a BOC certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He is also certified in Active Release Technique (ART®), and has a corrective exercise specialist (CES) certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
He resides in Cornwall, N.Y with his wife Sarah.
