WEST POINT, NY - As the final days of 2011 give way to the New Year, the Army Athletic Association would like to thank each and every one of its members for their support over the last 12 months.
Through the tremendous support and generosity of its membership, the Army A Club experienced a 15 percent increase in donations over the previous year with a total of over $3.5 million.
"We are grateful to all of our supporters for their contributions to the success of Army Athletics," stated Army Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan. "We are committed to providing our cadet-athletes with the best possible experience during their development into leaders of character, and the generosity of our A Club members is a key part of accomplishing that goal. We will continue to strive to do everything possible to support our cadet-athletes so they can succeed in every aspect of their West Point experience"
With the cost of running an athletic department increasing every year, and federal dollars being spread more and more thin across the country, the Army A Club continues to depend on its private support to make up the ever-widening gap.
Now, before the tax year ends, is a great time to make a donation the Army A Club. Your gift will not only provide valuable support to cadet-athletes working hard to pursue their academic and athletic goals, it will also count towards your 2012 benefits.
